Kevin Harris, CPA, joins Central Connecituct State University’s Institute of Technology and Business Development Advisory Committee
Glastonbury, Conn., (February 14, 2018) – MahoneySabol, a regional certified public accounting firm with locations in Glastonbury, Middletown, and Essex, Connecticut, has announced that one of their senior accountants, Kevin Harris, CPA, has joined Central Connecticut State University’s (CCSU) Institute of Technology and Business Development Advisory Committee.

Mr. Harris, of Middletown, Connecticut, graduated from CCSU in 2011 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and went on to complete a Master of Science in Accounting at University of Hartford in 2012. Mr. Harris has been employed by MahoneySabol in the Glastonbury office since 2015 where his primary responsibilities include preparing complex, closely held business returns, preparing and reviewing high net-worth individual returns, reviewing not-for-profit 990s, coordinating intern hiring, and training new staff.
As a member of the Advisory Committee, Mr. Harris’ main goal is to continue to position CCSU positively in the marketplace. His responsibilities will include: viewing guidelines and procedures related to ITBD operations, providing guidance to ITBD staff on market trends and business conditions, recommending policy, fee and budget changes to the ITBD Managing Director, assisting the ITBD in developing and achieving its annual goals, leveraging ITBD prominence in its markets, serving as s Champion for the ITBD in the business community, and providing guidance and recommendations for potential scholarship winners for the CCSU ITBD annual golf tournament.
