Kenneth Kron joined MahoneySabol in 1997. In his primary role as tax partner, his focus is on service to high net worth individuals, including athletes and entertainers, as well as middle market companies in industries including professional services, manufacturing and non-profit.

Ken also heads up the marketing committee which coordinates the development and implementation of the company brand and develops a robust marketing strategy including events, sponsorships, digital marketing and public relations.

Ken’s practice areas in the tax department include developing strategies to minimize tax for individuals, especially from flow through entities (partnerships and S corporations) and transaction advisory services with respect to structuring new business entities, acquisitions, sales and mergers.

Ken represents many family businesses in general business matters and tax preparation services. He believes in developing strong professional relationships with his clients and cares deeply about being their trusted advisor.

Ken started his accounting career as a revenue agent for the Internal Revenue Service. This experience is coupled with substantial work representing clients before the federal and state taxing authorities.

Ken received his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Associate’s Degree in Management from Bentley College (now University).

Accreditation, Designation and Professional & Civic Activities

Ken hold Series 6 and 66 Securities Licenses through Commonwealth Financial Network, Member FINRA/SIPC. He is a member of both the state and national societies of CPA’s and serves on the CTCPA Federal Tax Committee and State Tax Committee. He is also an active member of the Metro Hartford Alliance and Middlesex Chamber of Commerce. Ken also is active with the Middlesex County Leave a Legacy Foundation.
