Jason M. Messina is a Senior Manager in the Firm’s Assurance Services Department. Jason has over 10 years of public accounting experience in conducting, reviewing, and managing audits and reviews for both publicly-traded and privately-held companies that span a variety of industries, which include technology, manufacturing and distribution, education, and employee benefit plans. Jason’s experiences also include significant audit services for companies with international operations.

Jason has extensive experience with reporting requirements for publicly-traded companies on both the US and Toronto stock exchanges. Such reporting requirements include comfort letters, registration statements, and 10-Q and 10-K forms. Additionally, Jason has been heavily involved in evaluating business processes and internal controls surrounding Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 implementation and compliance.

Jason has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Suffolk University and a Master’s in Accounting Degree from the University of Hartford.
